Class of 1988

CLASS NOTES

Dr. David Hanson, Vancouver, Wash.: I moved into my new office in April 2005, at which time we went with digital radiographs and electronic charting. It has been a great move. I am staying active in a couple of study clubs and enjoying dentistry. In off time I enjoy some skiing and hiking as well as spending time on the Oregon coast. (Spring 2010)

Dr. Christopher Pickel, Seattle: I have been enjoying practice in the Northgate area for over 20 years. My partner, Leah Worstman, is a ’94 UWSOD grad. We practice together in the new Meridian Medical Pavilion. I have the honor of serving organized dentistry as the current President of the Seattle King County Dental Society. As such, I get to talk to the students about life after school. I also get to visit with the Dean on matters other than skit night (remember the days?). If you have the opportunity, get involved in mentoring a student or serving on a committee for your local dental society. It’s a rewarding experience. I am watching my 8-yearold daughter and 5-year-old son grow up too fast. My wife and I are keeping them busy with ski school at Mission Ridge and water sports on the Columbia River during the spring and summer. The Class of ’88 is known for traveling under the radar. Someone, other than Doreen Roseto, our illustrious lifetime secretary, needs to step up and organize a gettogether. A 23rd-year reunion? Hope to see you guys soon! (Spring 2010)
