CLASS NOTES

2020

Dr. Elizabeth Shaw, Seattle: Classmates and business partners Beth Jacobsen and Beth Shaw spent two wonderful weeks in Peru hiking the Inca Trail. (Spring 2020)

2014

Dr. Beth Jacobsen, Seattle: Dr. Beth Shaw, my partner and classmate, and I were featured in a local family-oriented magazine for the Laurelhurst and Windermere neighborhoods for our specially targeted Kids Days. We have themes with full costumes, decorations, prizes, balloons, etc., and see only kids all day long. It is a really fun way to get kids excited about the dentist and start their oral health care education as early as possible while eliminating the intimidation factor of traditional dentistry. (Fall 2014)

2012

Dr. Devin Fisher (’08) and Dr. Zachary Bergevin (’09), both of Port Orchard, Wash., were married on Nov. 20, 2011. (Fall 2012)

2010

Dr. Chad Wade, Longview, Wash.: I am currently practicing in Longview at Cowlitz County Family Health Center. I love living in the Northwest and getting an opportunity to give back to the underserved in the community. I plan to work here over the next two years and then look to open a practice somewhere in Vancouver, Wash., or the surrounding areas. One year ago, my wife and I welcomed our first son, who is our absolute pride and joy! In my spare time, I love participating in the outdoor activities the Northwest has to offer — snowboarding, hiking, and cycling are some of my favorites. (Spring 2010)

Drs. Lindsey Worthington and Ryan Todorovich, Libby, Mont.: We were married on July 24, 2010 in Big Fork, Mont. We currently live in Libby, where we both practice at the Northwest Community Health Center. (Fall 2010)

2009

Dr. Christopher W. Steen, Marrero, La.: I graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in June ’08. (Spring 2009)

REUNIONS

We had a great class reunion this summer at the Thompson Hotel in downtown Seattle.  The event went from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.  It was heavy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar.  About 75 percent of our class were able to attend.  Many were from out of town and spent the entire weekend enjoying Seattle and getting together with classmates. (Fall 2018)
